Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What about perfection? Is perfection in the eye of the beholder or the person who is trying to achieve perfection?
No matter how perfect one can get, others can still criticize… afterall, if we cannot achieve perfection, then maybe being the best one can be should be satisfying regardless of others’ perspectives.
We are for each other, then laugh, leaning back in my arms for life’s not a paragraph.
Through the happy and muddied times. A promise is a promise.

Senzo is seven years old and lives with his grandmother in Mgazini, in the Shiselweni region of southwestern Swaziland. He is HIV-positive and has been on treatment for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) at Our Lady of Sorrows clinic in the Matsanjeni Health Zone for just over five months.

Sometimes, there is only so much a person can take and how long a person can be strong for. It’s ok to cry, and feel the weight of a crumbling reality… so long as the person keeps getting up. Resilience.
Easier said than done.
